Women's FunArt Group - This is a supportive, non-therapy group that meets on the last Tuesday of the month from 7:00 to 9:00 PM to have fun doing an art project. Circle of Stones - Women artisans meet monthly with teenage girls for mentoring. Additionally the teens get together monthly for esteem building projects. This is an open group, new members welcome anytime.

Creating Mandalas - The Magic of Sacred Geometry 

Become familiar with the simple art form of the mandala (a picture in a circle). Learn how accessing creativity influences self awareness. Experience how working with mandalas increases focus, concentration and relaxation. Receive information on resources for locating mandalas suitable for personal use or use with clients or groups.

TouchDrawingTM 

This technique was developed by Deborah Koff-Chapin more than 20 years ago. It is a simple yet profound process that allows the soul to speak through the hands. A smooth surface is covered with a very thin layer of paint and covered with a sheet of paper. Wherever the paper is touched an imprint is made. Approximately 30 drawings are made in one sitting, each a stepping stone to the next. The process is both introspective and meditative. 

Mask Making

In this one day workshop you will create a mask of your own face using plaster gauze. The process is designed to be both soothing and empowering. After lunch we will paint and decorate our masks, which is a lively, fun-filled experience. 

Teen Girls’ Group – Meets the 2^nd and 4^th Sat. from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM.

Developing self worth using expressive art. Ages 13 through 16.
